Are you offering up your bezel with the red/green gels? What kind of shape is it in? My game just has the gels taped to the front of the tube.

Not very different than leaving it on for a few hours in the afternoon. My game isn't "stable", so trying to uncover what's wrong. I'll just have people over until the monitor starts to bloom and say "oh...sorry, game over for a few hours until it cools off".
