  1. FS Parts: Neo Geo MV1C motherboards

ack, just realized I helped bump a very old necro thread. Apologize to anyone seeing this.
  2. FS Parts: Neo Geo MV1C motherboards

The MVS-1C is JAMMA. The multi-slot boards stop being JAMMA and become MVS wired. The MVS-1C are top loading (and the shroud is helpful for keeping things clean and lined up). The BIOS chip is soldered on to the board if that makes a difference to you.
  3. FS Parts: FS: Neo Geo MVS Games (Sold)

Not sure whether to be happy or sad Shocktroopers sold :D Was debating it, it is definitely a good game and one i have been looking for, but Xmas is not the best time for me to make purchases. Your prices all seem pretty good, if not on the cheaper side. Good luck with the rest of your carts...
  4. Time Traveler Refresh Questions

Congratulations on finding it. I remember when this first came out and it was amazing, however, the local arcade wanted $2 a play, and I just couldn't afford it. I mostly just watched the attract mode :) I haven't seen very many of them show up and when they do they are non-working. It was...
  5. Final Fight Anniversary on CPS2

I didn't even realize they were doing this. I was never a big beat 'em up fan, but the idea of Ghouls n Ghosts sounds great.
  6. FS Parts: Neo geo mvs carts, some sweet unique titles.

Sent a PM as well, hopefully i am not too late to the party.
  7. Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

I thought they were completely sold out, but see they still have one still in stock (collectors edition).... I ordered a copy of just the game, but won't be here until Sunday, however... I must be getting old as I look at what is in the collector's edition and all I see is something to retain...
  8. Nashville local news story on arcade restoration

Space is often the sticking point. There are times I miss the Red Tent I had, but I don't regret selling it it took up so much space.
  9. WTB: candy cab

I don't know about GNDzero, but those container shipments aren't something that is quick, but rather something that will take months or years to get setup. As you are one of many working to bring over multiple cabinets at once, and then the person organizing it has to work on shipping logistics...
  10. Nashville local news story on arcade restoration

Didn't realize M'boro had a spot. I am down the street from Game Galaxy, so if i want pinballs that is usually where i head. I have bought a few games from DreamTR, but haven't really grown my collection in ages and now the few games I am still missing seem to have priced me out :) I have...
  11. Nashville local news story on arcade restoration

Thanks for sharing :) Do you make it down to Game Galaxy much or stay mostly in Nashville? I noticed a large increase in the number of barcades in the last several years, although I haven't gone to any since COVID began.
  12. FS Parts: NEO GEO SNK Kit reduced Price $250

Looks super clean :) Congrats on the restore.
  13. Do you still own your first cabinet?

Neo-geo upright.. and yes, still have it. Now the next 4 cabinets I bought I have sold, then kept the 5th one. My wife has told me we are not allowed to sell the MVS, and I agree. She still wishes I hadn't sold the Red Tent, but we just don't have space for a cocktail that size.
  14. FS Parts: Multiple Game PCBS For Sale

I was interested in NTM, but it seems there is already a bulk offer up, but no real responses.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J6o1tKgO05W5MyfokS24I7W-FyXeGClF?usp=sharing You can see what I have on there. Looks like it is missing the coin mech and the buttons are pretty slim pickings. Just had one external plate for the coin return, but it seems in good shape.
  16. WTB: Nintendo Red Tent (vs Dualsystem) Wiring Harness (or more parts, if you got 'em!)

Pretty sure I still have in some boxes: the coin slots/mechs, some joysticks (needs some cleaning), buttons (all cleaned, in various states, but the Vs colors), and I am pretty sure some wiring harnesses. But would need to check if the harness is for Unisystem or Dualsystem...may have both...
  17. NEW New geo dedicated

Most of the main points were brought up. That cabinet was originally a dedicated 4 slot neo-geo, which would mean it was originally wired MVS and not JAMMA. If it has a single slot MVS board in it now, they either have an MVS->JAMMA adapter, or someone has rewired it for JAMMA instead of MVS...
  18. Amiibo Thread

i appreciate the heads up on the amiiqo. I just picked one up.. A bit pricey, but at the same time, I am getting tired of switching between all of the amiibos for LoZ, and I dont even use half of my other amiibos because they don't happen to be with me when I am playing.
  19. FS Parts: Neo Geo one slot board (Jamma)

It looks to be an MVS-1FZ, I believe it is one of the newer ones.
  20. FS Parts: 27" vga monitor mtg-2902sn

this seems to be pretty common with a lot of the Japanese cabinets. Japanese cabinets list them as 29", US cabinets list them as 27". I believe it is more of a difference on how they measure, but they are the same size (at least in my experience)
