OK I swapped the flipper opto boards and the problem went to the other side. I took that board out and sprayed it with air duster, it seems a little better but I can't really tell. Does that mean i just need a new board or is there something I can do to this one?

Ok I will give that a shot. To clarify my problem, when running the steering wheel motor self test, the motor won't turn the wheel all the way left and right like it should. It won't turn it at all.

From my understanding the cruis'n USA doesnt have force feedback, ie. won't jerk the wheel when you hit something. It's just there for resistance as you turn. The game steers fine, I just think the resistance is missing. You can feel the wheel 'clicking' as you turn it, like when entering...
