Old Navy has some Arcade themed t-shirts

Those are Taito game station stools. The shirt is too anachronistic for me.

    Rampage Talk

As a Peoria native I always appreciated the game starting off there. Back in the late 80s the Peoria Airport had a cab. Used to play it a lot when we'd go to pick up/drop off family for flights.

    Outrun... the PERFECT Arcade Game?

I definitely prefer Outrun, the variety in the routes give it more replay value to me. Magical Sound Shower, Passing Breeze, and Splash Wave are all awesome tunes, and the fact that the song plays in its entirety throughout your playthrough is great. The Pizza Hut in my hometown had an upright...

    MVS 2 slot board issues

Hello all, I have an MVS 2 slot board that has some major issues. I've had the board since around 2006 and it has started acting up. I was getting graphical glitches, and one of the slots stopped working. I decided to open it up and take a look, first time I've done that with this one, and...

Ghouls n' Ghosts - the Dark Souls of arcade games...and it did it first

Wow, I had no idea about the adaptive difficulty, that explains why it gets so tough. And to think GnG did adaptive difficulty long before Darius Gaiden and Battle Garegga is pretty cool.

Ghouls n' Ghosts - the Dark Souls of arcade games...and it did it first

One of my all time favorites. I beat it several times on Genesis, then realized I beat it on Practice difficulty. Professional is another story. But the arcade version is one I revisit often, even if I haven't cleared both loops, its insanely addicting. And like Souls, enemy behavior and...

Who remembers the Holiday Inn Holidome?!

I can remember playing lots of Kicker/Shaolin's Road and Time Pilot at many a Holidome back in the mid 80s. Seems like the ones we stayed in always had both of those games. I think I played Jailbreak there as well.

Star Wars Trilogy Arcade - maybe the best Star Wars game ever made

It shouldn't have been too difficult, plus isn't it running on Naomi hardware, that's pretty easy to port to the DC.

Star Wars Trilogy Arcade - maybe the best Star Wars game ever made

Trilogy is great, it seems like every movie theater around me in the early 2000s had one. I'd hoped at the time Sega would have ported it to the Dreamcast, but it was already too late at that point.

Late 90's -2000's games no love?

I'd recommend the Metal Slug series if you haven't checked them out. Excellent run 'n gun games with beautifully detailed sprite work and a sense of humor. Trying to 1cc them is always a fun challenge.

Late 90's -2000's games no love?

Yep, love me some 90s and 2000 era games. 2d fighters and shmups were always my jam. Ive tried to keep the spirit of 90s Aladdins Castle alive in my game room.
