aaplejack, Im am also doing a 720 resto, where are you getting your black 3/4 t-molding from for the cab? and also the chrome stuff for the stereo? thanks

are these not recommended to be laid down, say on their backs, with the monitors still in?

it was working for a brief moment... a day. power source died... so the restoration is starting early before and after pictures of the resto from today

Sup everyone... So while waiting for my new power box i decided to begin the resto and i thought id throw a few pictures out and ask a few questions... 1. In one of the pictures there is a purple wire that has been cut, this is in the compartment under the joystick and bottons... i know this...

so i ordered a new power supply but ive got a question... let say the power supply is dying/dead/on life support... and after checking, that turns out to be the issue, and i adjust it and get the game working again... are there possibly other issues going on that could cause other problems...

obviously i dont have the multimeter yet but i just went and pulled that connection and there is some browning/yellowing on both sides of the plug where the two brown-ish lower two wires are... you mentioned this is a sign of overheating... overheating generated by what?

wow, now thats why im talking about, great picture, very helpful. Thank you multimeter wont be here for another hour or so, is there anything else to check when it does get here... with the out of this world chance that power supply comes up good to go... or after adjusting it to the correct...

Thank you, i will check the DC's when my friend comes back with the multimeter, is this where i should be getting a number over 5? Am i only checking the black and white wire going in? or am i also checking current on the multiplug coming off of it too? what reading should i be looking for?

what does that tape mean? its a reminder of a setting? its old and that its max?
