    Ok, i'll check em again with the auditory beep. I'm getting a very very high reading from them is all. Something like 289 megohms, which is absolutely nothing in terms of connectivity. Haven't tried it with the auditory setting though, so will. Ta

    so, looks like that wasn't it.. Tested the 3 pins that looked corroded and it all bells out ok, but there's still the same graphics problems. I suppose one of the other shiny pins could be corroded, but it doesn't look likely. I'm 99.9% certain that all the jumpers and the pal chip are wired...

    Ok, think i've found the problem. One of the 2 custom chips near the battery does actually have a bit of corrosion on 3 of the pins. Question is though, how do I fix it? I would post a picture, but for some reason, i'm not able to at the moment. Keep getting error messages from the manage...

    Hi there, so, yes I did the conversion myself and to the best of my knowledge, the game was working before, till it wasn't (suicided) There is no acid damage that I can see, or broken traces, but i'll have another, closer look, when I get back from work. Thanks.

    Ok, so... the only thing I can see which comes close to a self check, is the screen where it identifies the region... Other than that, it's just the capcom logo and phoenix logo... (pic at bottom of post). Also, have added pictures of the board but try as I might, I can't find anything obviously...
