  1. Help identifying Kortek chassis

Ken, sorry, another question: are flybacks for the "KT-1420A and friends" range still available?
  2. Help identifying Kortek chassis

Thanks a lot Ken! You just saved me a lot of time randomly searching. At a glance, it looks like the Penn-Ray is the best match.
  3. Help identifying Kortek chassis

G'day guys, I have a pile of these Kortek chassis pulled from a bunch of 20 inch (as we call them in the Southern Hemisphere) generic, New Zealand-made cabs. I'd say I have around a dozen of these chassis and 4 matching A48 Samsung tubes. I'd be happy if I could scavenge parts to eventually...

Happy to throw in a couple Aussie MCA joysticks to sweeten the deal (tipping not many MCAs made it to Canada! ;) ).

  8. Remote Board for Kortek KT2602M (KTX26 or K1-2-VO?)

I just got hold of 10 faulty 26" Kortek boards at a bargain price. I will check if any of the model numbers match yours. Only problem is that I'm in New Zealand so, even if I gift you the remote, the postage might be prohibitive. :(

  10. Advice on a desoldering station?

Thanks for the replies, guys! Sounds like I can't go too far wrong with a Hakko soldering and de-soldering setup! I appreciate the feedback as I didn't want to take the plunge and then find out that I'd thrown my money at a piece of junk. Currently weighing up between the Hakko 808 and 474...

  12. "G'day" from a CRT obsessed Aussie

Hey guys, I'm an daily reader of this forum but this is the first time I've ever posted! I live in Australia and collect SCART televisions for use with MAME. I use GroovyMAME to play all my favourite games at native resolution and refresh rate using the RGB input of my SCART televisions. Looks...
