I'm working on my deflection board and planned on doing the well-known diode mod described in Michael Kelley's faq. Anyway, it calls for 4002 (100v) diodes and all I have on hand at the moment are 4001s (50v). Are these acceptable substitutes?

Should I be able to replace a 3.2 A fusestat with a fuse on my stepper? My limited understanding of a fusestat is that it is able to withstand an initial current higher than its rating for a little bit, so would a slo-blo serve generally the same function?
