1. has anyone seen this one before

I saw one at PuttPutt. It's pretty boring but my 7 year old liked it for about 10 minutes maybe.
2. Do Pole Position Cockpits seperate in two pieces?

Re: Do Pole Position Cockpits seperate in two pieces? No, they can't. I've got one and thought about it but you would have to tear it ALL apart. I'm guessing that's why they are just wide enough to fit thru a doorway. Even with no monitor they are heavy as hell. Good luck and don't kill your back.
3. Vertical (or is it horizontal) scrolling on DK jr

Re: Vertical (or is it horizontal) scrolling on DK jr I've had the same issue. So I did a cap kit and found some bad solder points. Fixed the problem. It was a 20EZV.
4. OT: FS XBOX 360 Premium system

I would say that is a very fair price seeing that in the local newspaper they are ranging from $850 to $2500 WITHOUT games. WOW. I'll stick with my PS2. Think about it, in about 7 or 8 months you'll be able to get the X-Box 360 for about $250 or so.
5. WANTED: Star Wars Upright Project in Midwest

I saw quite a few at the auction on the 10th here in Dallas. Seem like they all went in the range of $700 to $1000. I typically loose interest in games that go over the $500 bid. Call me cheap I guess.
6. white bars on monitor

It could be a few things. First thing is to check all the adjustments, of course you have already done that I'm sure. The next thing I would do is a full cap kit, it's easy and hardly costs anything. It usually solves all sort of problems and definitely makes the picture look better sometimes.
7. Pole Position Monitor Problems..Ear Piercing Sound

There was only 2 poles out at the auction and I got outbided to quick to raise my hand. Sorry about that. Both of them were in decent shape. One didn't have the PCB and the other did. Neither of them actually was working. Good luck.
8. Legs for midway cocktails...

Why don't you make a box for it instead of legs. Sounds like it might look kind of goofy being that high on legs and a box would be more sturdy. It would be kind of like the small 13" Monitor Neo-Geo's, they are put on boxes.
9. Pole Position Monitor Problems..Ear Piercing Sound

Re: Pole Position Monitor Problems..Ear Piercing Sound Did you ever figure out this problem or not ??? Auction is tomorrow . Maybe I'll find something good.
10. Buy it at target for $400, or on Ebay for $700?

Those sure do look like they have just a 13" monitor in it. I haven't noticed any at Target, but really don't care to either.
11. sound issues (JAMMA)

Check the grounds on the switcher and the monitor. Also, have you installed a AC line filter in your power supply ??? Those actually take out line noise. Also make sure your ground is good on your plug. Hope this helps.
12. Pictures from 11/19 SuperAuctions in Orange County

<blockquote><font class="small">In reply to:<hr /> How did you take pictures? Are you sure you can't take pictures in Dallas ??? I thought I saw someone taking pictures last auction. Are you going Saturday ???
13. sound issues (JAMMA)

I would check to see if all your ROMS are seated. Also check if the solder points to the volume pot are good, it could be just real dusty. You might also have a grounding issue, check taht EVERYTHING is grounded. What game are we talking about and that might help everyone ???
14. Lethal Enforcers Gun Problems

To me, it sounds like a board issue but, I really couldn't be a 100% on that due to the lack of intelligence about shooter games. I'm pretty for sure that the gun does need its lens probably for focusing the frequency to the gun, kind of like shooting a shotgun compared to a .45. You might be...
15. Mortal Kocktail

What the hell is that ???? I've seen better things at Target........NOT
16. HUGE AUCTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know Super Auctions in Dallas/Fort Worth you only have 3 hours to remove the machine after the entire auction has ended. Cash or card, I don't think they will accept check.
17. Jamma Pcbs for sale

<blockquote><font class="small">In reply to:<hr /> Yea whats up with shipping. I'm not saying nothing
18. Universal Programmer

Alright, I am so glad to be a member of this forum. I'm going to pass on the big one and when I'm ready I'll find out which one will be the EASIEST to learn and connect without some special cable or card. Thanks everyone.
19. Universal Programmer

Being $20 at electronics surplus store. This is not one of the cheap 1 port programmers that you find new for $50 that plug into a computer. This is the one that can program 8 chips at a time and is a stand alone unit with a built-in keyboard which also can print your programming to a dot-matrix...
20. Universal Programmer

How do you use one of those universal programmers ??? I know you need to know machine language, correct ??? I'm sure a programming degree would help too but, I'm mainly just wanting to test some chips. To see if there is issues with a chip or 2. Also probably duplicate chips also. I found an 8...
