Does you heater get any glow? I just finished up a Hantarex Polo that had same problems. Once I traced out the components that were bad I got the heater working and things started going positive.

Don't know. I was just curious as to if there was one. You'd probably see a place for it if there was. It doesn't seem like there are a ton of people on here that like talking about the hantarex stuff. Ive heard a few horror stories haha.

I have read in a few places that a non-bright monitor and blurry edges can both be signs of a bad flyback. I mean, this things doesn't look brand new. I think I may try ordering a new one and seeing where that goes, does this train of thought sound right?

My polo 25 has 330 uf B+ filter caps, your guide shows 470 or something. This thing has had some work done to it, so is the 330 uF caps the correct ones? It's in high voltage shutdown right now... but was powering up before I replaced one of the 330's that was all bulged out as well as the HOT.
