NEW Got me a little bit of action last night !

I don't mean to jump in, but it seems you guys know a little about the taito cabs. Can anyone shed some light on this one? I've partially tried to restore it, unfortunately the paint was hard to remove even with stripper, so I ended up being a little too rough with the scraper. It has a Jungle...

    Downgrade UMK3 to MK3 plain.

Haha, oh dear. I change ROMs wearing static inducing clothing, all the time. Never had problems so far. But then again, if I'm dealing with something worth more than a few hundred, I'll use a band. Might source the pic chip and have a go at it some time. MK3 is damn hard to find here

Donkey Kong Jr screen issues. Sync?

G'day guys. I finally got round to wiring up my dkjr board and testing it. Seems fine except for a sync issue. Best described with a pic; This pic is taken after I figured out I had left the monitor ground off (part of the rgb loom). I connected the ground on dkjr, which is right next to the...

Paperboy: Interrupt failure + video glitch

And that is the state of the boards. Whole cabinet had a thick layer of dust in and on it. Unused for years I guess, the fan needed to be oiled. You'll notice that there are no plugs on any of the wires. All are soldered on :( Will get some better pics tomorrow

Paperboy: Interrupt failure + video glitch

G'day. I'm quite new to authentic machines. No stranger to building tho. Right off the bat, i scored a cheap Paperboy cab. Not the original cab either, it's a tempest cab with wood grain pattern. It boots, it plays. Except where letterbox and obstacles should be, is a line of blocks of...
