  1. SOLD - GAME working Neo Geo 4 slot cabinet, +21 game carts (maybe a few more), marquees, flyers, and extra parts, all as one lot purchase

I think the NeoGeo’s are awesome. I have been looking for one in NJ for a while. I just reached out to someone selling one in the area but have yet to hear back from the seller. It’s always a challenge here in NJ. Had another guy selling a Defender on Facebook, offered him exactly what he...

  3. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

Yeah the bottom is literally falling apart and that’s going to drive me crazy. I don’t understand why someone would take the legs off this machine, which was designed to keep it up off the ground.
  4. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

There’s no doubt I want to completely repair the bottom of the cabinet. I am not taking this off the list of to-dos. What has me a little scared right now is seeing the working board sets on eBay for 550 dollars. I hope I don’t have to go to that extreme to make this go.

  6. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

Thanks for this, I am glad that others seem to be leaning the way I was originally leaning, which is that this may not have been submerged. I think I am going to hook it all back up tonight and check the tape job on the main cord. The weird gray sheen coating everything in the bottom of the...

  9. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

Any chance you have a solution to the board sets issues? I have uncovered that the culprit on the boards is usually this U15 chip. Sadly this morning I have noticed a black sharpie mark on the row, which leads me to believe that someone may have looked at this already. I am wondering where to...
  10. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

I like the way you think, that tape up job was going to be my first hit. Yeah, I am not great with electrical meters but its time to re-learn the basics. I also heard that this U15 chip is usually the culprit on the board sets being bad. Sadly, I looked this morning and there is a black...
  11. GORF Help/Advice: Try to save it or Part Out and purchase a working machine

Looking for some advice. I picked up this Gorf last week and thought maybe the cabinet was wicking water off the garage floor where it came from due to damage at the bottom. I got home and took a closer look and the bottom 4 inches of the cabinet is actually swollen and shot especially on one...

I would like to find an original working full size GORF arcade machine. I am willing to pay a fair price. Not looking for a heavily modded machine or anything Mame/New. If you have one in the area, or are outside my area and are willing to help me get it shipped to NJ, please reach out. I am...
  13. KTN-2001 need help on Ms Pac Man Rebuild - vertical lines and loss of color (new monitor)

Hello All, I pulled a brand new KTN 2001 19” monitor out of the box a few months back to rebuild a Ms Pac Man multi for my brothers arcade. Everything was going pretty well except that when I installed the 60-1 multicade from Mikes Arcade into the Ms Pac Man body I noticed that when the colors...

  16. Mortal Kombat 1 Wiring/Power Up Help

Need to connect that Yes, when I took those pictures, I was not 100% sure that was where the wire was supposed to go. I have connected that one from the sound board to the main PCB. I still have to solder the one cut wire yet that I mentioned. I am hoping to run a power check prior to...
  17. Mortal Kombat 1 Wiring/Power Up Help

I am trying to restore a MK1. The original wiring is there, and it appears that the only cut wires are the control panel and a power to the coin meter wire. I am planning on re-connecting this and taking it off the power switching block first. I have studied other MK1 restoration threads...

  19. Ms Pac Man adapt without destroy for Multi

Installed, love it so far I put the adaption kit in from Mikes Arcade and am enjoying it. I have turned my attention now to the remaining parts and restoration. I am trying to find a bezel for under the glass, a speaker, grill and a light replacement for the marquee, my marquee fixture has a...
