  1. G07 F902 Issues and 1N5068 Diode Replacement

After recapping a G07 I discovered that with the degauss coil connected on start up, F902 would blow. I replaced the fuse and tried again this time with the coil disconnected—the monitor turns on, no blown fuse. I adjusted B+ to 120V and the picture looks great. After a couple of fuses and...

Thank you, that is great information and very helpful!
  6. Monitor: Upright vs Cocktail

I've noticed that some of G07s have a metal shroud over the back of the tube and some do not. Is this for shielding purposes? I've seen cocktail tables with and without this. I just want to make sure I get the right one.
  7. WTB Electrohome G07 CBO 19" inch monitor tube

I think I should be able to use the existing cocktail monitor frame and swap out the dead one with a replacement. So I'll just need the complete monitor.

  9. Monitor: Upright vs Cocktail

I don't mind making adjustments if need be. Actually the sad part is I HAD a replacement monitor a while back but got out of the hobby and went on to other things. So after a couple of years of it collecting dust I sold it a few months ago. Recently I discovered that my monitor's focus pin...

  11. Monitor: Upright vs Cocktail

Hi All, This may be a dumb question but I tried the search but could not find anything. Can I use a G07 monitor from upright or does it have to be one from a cocktail. Thanks, Robert

Selling a G07 Burn-Free Monitor with semi working chassis. I bought this about two years ago with the intention of putting it into my Ms PacMan cocktail table. I placed it in there and it initially worked but as I was making adjustments I got collapse as you can see in the picture. I planned...

  16. Sea Wolf Repair Begins

I finally had some time to continue on this. I adjusted the PS so there was 5 volts at the board. Still nothing. I took out the H ROM and still nothing. I downloaded the midway 8080 test document and followed the instructions in section 3.4.to test voltages Vrb and Vra several points...

  18. Sea Wolf Repair Begins

I tested the monitor using the composite connection method and could faintly see something going on. After about 30 minutes of knob twisting I got a pretty nice picture. So now I know the monitor works. I'll start testing the voltages and for shorts as suggested. -Robert
  19. Sea Wolf Repair Begins

Thanks guys. I will do all of those tests and follow up. Regarding the composite video connection: So after I remove the 18 pin connector from the monitor chassis, I then take the composite video out from the DVD player using an RCA cable and connect the tip to pin 18 (video) on the chassis...
