I always loved the game and played it fairly often in the arcade. The parallax scrolling, sense of urgency, and gruesome aliens were a great combination.
Thanks for sharing Zete. You've inspired me to Novus my bezel. It has some patina as well, including a little etched graffiti. Seeing this, I think I will be able to make it look a lot better.
+1 for QB-3. Jonathan had mentioned to me that it would be at CAX this year, but I had no idea how complete and enjoyable it would be. I've added a partial picture of it below. Hopefully someone has a more complete picture.
Sinistar with updated roms was enjoyable to experience as well, IMO.

My first arcade cabinet was a working 720 for $230 in 1995. At the time, I imagined this being like tattoos: You get one, and you want more. Twenty-plus games coming and going later, that suspicion may have been accurate.
