Ms Pac Man Monitor Shroud/Bezel Where to Find?

I've been slowly restoring my Ms Pac and now that's it painted, t-molding in, CP back on, and the list goes on... the problem is I can't seem to find my darn monitor shroud. I need to buy a new one, I've looked for 2 weeks now without luck. (I'm also missing the coin mechs and harness there but...

Local forum or person (CT) to test boards?

Hello, Over the past decade or so I've sold almost all my arcades and now I need to test my remaining two JAMMA boards but now realize I have no way to do so. I have a functional MsPac but that's not going to help. When i was more active in the community I knew people and places but it's been so...

    Price check on SF boards

I have a Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Blue US (blue) board and a SF 2 Hyper Fighter board I'm thinking of selling. I've held onto these for over a decade and it seems like some collector might enjoy them more than me. I use to own 10 arcades and now I'm down to this and a Ms Pac. Just seems a...

WTB Mat Mania Sound Board PCB

I wish I knew, I don't own the other. They look incredibly similar (if not exactly the same) from the pics I've seen but w/out someone verifying I can't confirm.

WTB Mat Mania Sound Board PCB

I recently restored a Mat Mania to working condition but the sound board isn't working. I can faintly hear the 1, 2, 3, and start sounds but that's it (static besides that). I suppose I could replace some capacitors on the PCB and hope for the best... or I can buy one from you. If anyone has...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle button help

Your game will have micro switches like the one linked below. Simply remove the quick disconnect from the lead marked N.O. (normally open) of the jump and place it on the N.O. of the attack. Then do it again going from attack to jump. There's no need to change the common (ground) wire since...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle button help

How long have you had it? Was it always like this and you just noticed? Unless it's something awkward besides a wiring issue... Just disconnect the normally open (not the ground) wire from the jump and place it on attack and vice versa.

Easy way to disconnect wires from a joystick

Quick disconnects (the picture in pseeds post) is the easy way, try soldering and re-soldering the contacts, now that takes some time!

Ms. Pac, She's ALIVE!!!.. well kinda

For future reference if anyone has this sort of problem. I noticed a small voltage drop on the fuse holders. I ended up replacing the 4 and 2 fuse holder and put in a new power chord (connected w/QDs now). From there I did my usual checking, cleaning, and tinkering and it now works perfectly...

What I Learned About Arcade Machines from Craigslist in 2010

hahaha this is hilarious because of how true those words are. I'm always amazed at how much their games are worth... but if you owned it and were selling it, it'd only be worth 10% as much.

the best way to cut plexiglass...

I've done table saw and plastic cutting knife (score and snap) and had both work wonderfully. I've cut a ton of plexi in my day and I can honestly say I've never had the need to try another way.

Vs Super Mario Bros, the quest to get some sound

Finally got the camera back. Hopefully these 2 pics help. first, the board itself,The arrow is pointing to the JA connector. I'm thinking the cord (in pic 2) attaches to it? The schematic doesn't show anything connecting though the chord Culcuhain, I'll get on checking that IC. Thanks...

Arcade Basement Vist - Price advice

Now there's a tricky question. Some OPs are realistic and grounded in their prices, others (like a lot of people) think their junk is gold. Those junk boxes can definitely vary widely. Are they organized at all or just random crap everywhere? For example, a box full of pac joysticks at least...
