Thanks for that - I was looking for something difficult when it was obvious! Holder looked like new but when metered no reading until I just roughed up the terminals!
Just acquired a T2JD video and I'm in the process of doing it up, but every time I power it down it loses the gun settings - changed the main battery on the pcb (J14) but it hasn't made any difference - any ideas or am I missing something obvious?
Went for a new board which has just come out (by all accounts) - 18 CPSII games in one including various Street Fighter & Marvel/Capcom games! Shipped this week from Japan and to be installed into a new jamma cabinet - thanks for all the posts though!
When the guy finally got back to me (with pictures) it turned out the machine had been "made" to look like an ultracade but wasn't - just that some of the artwork had been copied! Once he found that it was a copy he ordered one of the Global VR Arcade Classics instead! Problem solved.
This is what I thought would happen! The Marvel Super Heroes route seemed a good idea to me for one machine and SF or VF for the other - I don't think that the blood & guts thing would be a problem as he has a House Of The Dead already! I have a contact in japan and their pcb list shows Marvel V...
Should be getting the info later today (Friday) - all I know at present from the guy is that it says on the screen something along the lines of "Unigame Ultracade Technologies 2003 Capcom Co". Where would it list the operating system info?
I have been asked to source a couple of fighting games for a customer but have not had much to do with this genre for a number of years now so I am unsure as to which way to point him - I understand that everyone has different favourites but some games must have a better rep than others...
I understand that you can add compendiums of games to the basic ultracade machine and need to find a source for these add ons. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any other info re the installation etc would also be appreciated
I had to change the battery holder when I got the machine so I don't think that it is this - seem to remember it flashes all four led's on power up which if memory serves (from working on the old williams pinballs) indicates everything Ok? I don't pretend to be an expert and don't know the codes...
HELP - does anybody know why a defender would not allow adjustment from 1 ship (default) to 3 in its settings, batteries & holder fine and machine logs other adjustments (i.e free play) but reverts back to one ship immediately. I have got round the problem by stepping BACK from the menu option...
Anyone familiar with this machine - I'm after a manual or at least some switch settings for the machine - may have been unique to Uk (manufactured in wolverhampton)
thought I would go for the whole unit - Which size would I need? The cab is the very compact one (I would call it a cocktail) only stands about 4'6" high so I assume it's the smallest trackball!

Did you get fixed up with a manual? I have loads as it's the main box we operated when doing vinyl jukeboxes - provided it is the electronic version, what is model prestige/century/consulette etc? - could post you one if you send me your details?

just got my replacement board for my m/c cocktail cabinet (thanks mspaeth!) and now need to source new rollers for trackball - already asked this question once and was posted a link but can I find it now......no!
Thanks in advance!

just posting this back to the top of the list on the off chance that anyone knows a source for these panels - link to picture in previous post. I have two tabletops waiting!
