  1. How to remove coin selector from MsPacMan/Galaga

To remove the Wells/Gardner coin selector on an upright MsPacMan/Galaga do I remove the whole metal frame from the door, or leave that frame attached and remove just the plastic part thru which the coin falls? This will be my first time to remove a coin selector. Thanks
  2. Coins sticking in coin selector below reject

Follow up question I've never removed a coin selector. Do I remove the whole metal frame from the door and then extract the plastic part coin falls thru, or just the plastic part from the door? Bill
  3. Coins sticking in coin selector below reject

I cleaned it as best I could without removing--which has made me nervous. Guess I should go ahead and remove it which will provide better access for cleaning. Thanks for the nudge. Bill
  4. Coins sticking in coin selector below reject

Our MsPacMan/Galaga console machine works great except U.S. dollar Sacagawea coins stick 5-10% of the time below the reject button in the Wells-Gardner coin selector. I will appreciate any advice on how to prevent that. Would puffing some graphite dust into the coin slot help or hurt? Thanks, Bill

Hi everybody. I'm a grandfather whose seven grandkids are happiest when our MsPacman/Galaga and Eightball pinball machines are working fine. I'm hoping these forums can help make that happen and thank you in advance for any advice you can offer. nhbill aka Bill Nobles
