I theorize a lot of it is because of newer folks in the hobby. I know when I was new, I would obsess over perfection. Lots of folks only have one or two game so they can obsess over them. Once you get past a dozen (games or years) you get less precious about the whole thing. It’s even worse...

What’s y’all’s favorite Grinkers moments? Mine’s finding @AJ2 napping in the Missile Command. Little known fact about Missile Command cockpits, they make an excellent spot to grab some R&R. It’s like a Reagan-era Cold War sleep pod.

Would make a cool topper for an UR. Maybe chose material /paints so that it glows under black light? Maybe cheaper / easier than self illumination? Count me in for one, price dependent.

Are any of those sticks 8-way? Need one for my Gaplus. Looks like normal midway PacMan stick but with a square restrictor.

There was a guy in one of the FB groups who used the hollow molding from t-molding.com and lit it with UV LED strips. The trick was to put the strips in upside down (facing the channel) to avoid bright spots. It’s the best implementation I’ve seen, hands down, and it’s what I plan to do to mine.
