The only problem I have with mine is G.I. Issues.This is my favorite pin and if I found another for sale around me at that price I would buy it.

Check for burnt pins on the transformer board. New board cost around $60 with new connectors and pins.You might want to check for battery acid damage also.

I have one doing the same thing. I haven't had a chance to look at yet. Have you turned up the brightness when this happens to see if you can see them? I'm sure someone on here has the answer.
