  1. My 14 Year Old’s Halloween Party in Galaxy Blue

We had my kid's birthday on July 4th every year and the arcade was a featured attraction. It was always satisfying seeing every game being played and hearing the all sounds of a real arcade. Of course now my child is an adult, there are no more parties and the games are collecting dust. I...
  2. Defender Vs Stargate: Which Game’s Better?

It's a challenge to master all the controls on Stargate. Actually I think both games were way too hard. From what I remember Defender earned a ton of money. An average Defender game probably lasted a few minutes back then. Robotron was the best game Williams made, or perhaps anyone has ever...
  3. Rest in Peace, SuperGunGuru

RIP Is there a link for donations to his wife and kids?
  4. FS Last Call: I'ROBOT - It is TIME...

Yep it's getting harder to sell video games especially expensive ones. I don't think pinball has seen much of a decrease but it's probably coming.
  5. Sales/Business Down for arcade parts ?

Seems like a lot of games are taking longer to sell even with prices lowered. A lot of us are aging out of the hobby. Lugging heavy games around when you are in your late 50s/early 60s is not as easy as it once was. And there is a whole 1up subculture now. It kind of reminds me of this...
  6. Gah! Why can't theses 25+ year old games just work?!

Bob Roberts used to sell a kit to replace all the edge connectors and pins. That was helpful when I had similar issues. Also, i reseated the two big boards that fit together once in a while and that seemed to help. I have not had my machine turned on in over 5 years too so I am guessing it...

  9. Auctions (Other) Live Captains auction

I haven't sold a game in 7 years but I haven't turned on most of mine in 5 years. Been working to change that but I bet 90% won't work when I turn them on. We are all getting older and there probably aren't going to be enough people to replace all of us in this hobby. I could be wrong.
  10. Sea Wolf Modern Replacement Game Board

nice work. mine hasn't been on in years and probably needs one. would be neat to offer some variations of the game such as time element, difficulty, number of boats etc.

  15. FS Game: Omega Race and Target Terror Gold - Kalamazoo, MI - FINAL Price DROP

It's happened twice before...late 90s dot com crash tanked prices for arcade games and the 2007/2008 recession tanked prices for arcade games. I guess the difference now is that the prices for these games reached astounding levels so it will be interesting to see where the bottom is. Not sure...
  16. FS Game: Omega Race and Target Terror Gold - Kalamazoo, MI - FINAL Price DROP

He should try selling it on other forums like Arcade Exchange on Facebook. Lots of buyers there.

  18. FB - 3rd Party Hugh Hefner's Missile Command

Sold for $1751. Seems like a good deal given the history. I don't doubt that Hefner had issues but he was never even charged with a crime while alive.
