Is it actually available yet? Whenever I see it mentioned here I check the page and it's listed as sold out / not available. There aren't any reviews posted for it on the page either, unlike the non Doh version that has 13 reviews. There is a video of the menu system but I haven't seen any...
I also need a pair for a Joust Cocktail.
I bought 10 bases from Takeman's first run to help get it to the minimum order quantity. After using one pair I sold the others off for my purchase price as I wasn't in it for the $$.
Now I'm kicking myself for not holding on to them.
I'd be OK with it if you could make it tie into the game play. White light when in attract mode, then the colors change to match the maze colors as you go from blue to red to yellow, etc. Completely off for the invisible levels, etc.
From the same auction as osver's. Bid on it on a whim, sure I wouldn't win but did.
Auction pic showed it running Tetris with a good looking monitor. Got it home and opened the back to find what appears to be a Vision Pro monitor installed in a WG4900 frame. The chassis had been mounted...
I'll be picking up a converted Joust cocktail today, running Tetris. I also had one 10 years ago that was converted to Championship Baseball. I seem to remember the production number of 500ish that Python was talking about was thought to be for the Joust cocktail style pinball. Now that one...
If using an upright harness in a cabaret, some of the wires going to the AR board are actually too short. I did this and made a couple extensions so as not to alter the original harness. The issue is caused by the game and AR pcbs being mounted on opposite cabinet sides in the cabaret, where...
Before and after pics. Asteroids Deluxe cabaret that was converted to a bootleg Ms. Pac Man, with vertically mounted Sanyo color monitor running with no iso transformer.
My one and only 'op raid'. Big thanks to my friend Gary for passing it on to me and driving us to get them!
I kept one and gave another to another friend and sold the others. I eventually sold the one I kept as well and instead I use a single slot in a jamma cab.
Since reading this thread I've been intrigued about soldering to fill small holes. Thanks for posting the method Scumo!
I made a video of my first attempt, which turned out great.
Leapinlew on arcadecontrols.com made the 'original' of that Tempest bartop, and several people have made their own inspired by his design.

The Naomi output is hit or miss on LCD's. There's something about the signal that not all monitors will sync with. I've used VGA to HDMI converters before and even then one brand worked and another didn't.
