    Who's in Redding CA??

Oh man, sorry Peter. I had not been on the forums for a while and just saw this. I do hope you come this way again soon so that we can all meet up.

Got a free Pac Man cabaret!

Wow! Congratulation on the pickup. The woodgrain and the art on the control panel looks to be in good condition. Glad that the board did not have issues and that the monitor simply needed to be dialed in.

    Ken Layton has passed away

This is really sad news. Ken had a wealth of knowledge for sure and he could be found sharing it in many of those posts here at KLOV (as well as other forums). RIP Ken. He will be missed.

SOLD - GAME Omega Race Project $250

Wow, I would really like to bite on this one! I just have too many projects right now and about at my limit with games in the garage. This is a great deal for someone that knows how to do the board work.

    Gyruss sound too loud.

Yes, it does sound like you will need to lower the volume from the PCB volume pots. The volume pots in the coin door will simply raise or lower the volume by a certain tolerance. You will want to make sure you set the volume controls from the PCB to a point where you are able to have a tolerable...

What boards would you like to see reproduce?

Try 101 times. :) GORF should definitely be up there!

    What classic games were flops?

Star Wars would have also be in the same category as Tempest. Agreed that most vectors underperformed since the monitors were problems for the operators.

If you were just starting out

OK, I play along with only 4K. I would have the following for my small arcade: 1) Ms. Pac Man 2) Dig Dug 3) Neo Geo 4 MVS slot 4) Defender

NEW OLD STOCK B&K Precision 467

Congratulations on the sweet pickup. Glad you have the CR-23 ADAPTER too. You will not go wrong with having a B&K 467. Like what Alpha-tron said, its amazing the foam inside the case has not come apart yet.

Operator closeout sale (Citrus Heights Ca)

I was going to be heading down to Sacramento this weekend for that closeout. Glad I did not do the 2 hour drive. There was a Dig Dug that I was going to bite on for $300 without monitor and CP. Enigma, I'm glad you were able to go home without being empty handed.

Grail 1 of 2...Street Fighter 2 World Warrior

Great work on SFII! I actually like those red joysticks too.

Are people really dumb or do they think I'm just stupid?

Probably the best definition would be someone who will add value to the game - like cleaning it up and/or fixing some or all of the problems before flipping it. :):)

Pole Position Restore: MY FIRST RESTORE EVER

Keep up the great work, Scopio! The steering wheel turned out great. Can't wait to see your progress on this.

    A&E "What's it Worth"

Iggy, your eyes probably would have popped out of your head if that "expert" would have said that the DK was worth $4500...but had the owner threw in a 60-in-1, it would have been worth even more! :ROFLMAO:

The most sentimental & nostalgic game you own?

For me it would have been GORF. We had a skating rink in Woodland, Ca. called Star World Skating Center. Initially, I remember when you come into the building near the front where people would sit down to put their skates on, there was a Space Invaders. There may have been another game, but...

    Ms Pac-Man untouched until now

Yes, very clean inside with what looks like a brand new manual. Nice pick-up!

    Who loves/hates 60-in-1?

Although I don't own one, I've played some of the games on the 60 in 1 board. I don't seem to have a big problem with the games for the most part. Its nice to be able to have multiple games in once cabinet. My problem would be more of slapping the $59 board and sticking it into a cabinet and...
