My cab was originally a Qbert. If I used the white CPO pictured above, My player one button would go right through the instruction card. I'd have to move those to the right side, which I didn't want to do. Also, the lower portion of the CPO that shows the "vaus" would have to be cut off. I did...

This is my first arcade cabinet restoration. So this will take me some time to complete. I started with the cpo as it was in pretty rough shape. The replacement cpo was ordered from Mamemarquees.com, & the new buttons are from Happ's. I still need to sand and paint the heads of the carriage...

My first purchase was an Arkanoid, in a (badly) converted Qbert cab. I used a hand truck & put a ratchet tie-down around the cab to secure it. This worked well, I also had a friend come with me to help lift it into my truck. There's no free play but you can set the DIP for 6 credits per coin...

I have a dedicated Arkanoid with spinner and all. It can be a pain in the ass, but it's a fun game. Still haven't been past level 4.

The Japanese ROM has trampolines on level 2.

Which front end are you using?

Do you have a volt meter. Need to check that the pcb is getting power. I have an Arkanoid upright that I can refer to if you need help. Edit: Pinout image attached.

I'm thinking of using LED's in my coin mechs. One of my cabs has the wedge base & the other has bayonet. Does anyone know a supplier of both? Never mind, just noticed that Pinball Life has both types in LED.
