I'm working on a NBA Jam project with 2 gaping holes in the front in need of coin doors. This is for a dedicated Midway cabinet.

Anyone ever see one do this? I found a bad rom on the video board, replaced it and it's less ugly. Swapped z80s, same result. Swapped ribbon cables, same deal. Tried the Braze kit to look for ram issues, same. Voltages are good, I have another that works in the cabinet and with the Braze kit.

Where do you dispose of these things?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a replacement belt source for a DECO cassette player? I have 3 players where the belts have disintegrated to black goo.

I have a Marvel Vs Capcom 2 that won't boot, just sits at an error 01. Other carts (ex: Capcom Vs Snk) boot fine. The bios looks to be the latest USA version. Also test mode shows the cart as unknown. The rom test also looks a little weird.

My MK2 went belly up. Both LEDs on the main board light, occasionally the LED on the sound board flashes. When the sound led flashes I hear the normal "BONG!" followed by a looping baby cry sound. Voltages are ok, swapped to a new power supply as well sitting right around 5.1v. Any ideas?

This board was displaying corrupted boats and other graphics, the text was ok. The roms were replaced and now it boots to garbage. If we try the original roms, it does the same thing. The power board was recapped and is in spec. The rom sockets have also been replaced. Any idea what to check...

I have a 34 inch Polo that goes into shutdown after running around 10-15 minutes. Power it off then back on and it comes right up. Any common issue to look for?

Id like to switch between Pacman and Ms Pacman without crawling around behind the cabinet to swap boards. What is a decent low cost multi Pac option? I don't need 90 different versions of Pacman.

This is a new one for me.. Voltages are fine, wiring is fine, speaker is good, amp is good... but no sound, no hum, nothing. No speaker pop on boot...which would make me think amp issue..but the amp is ok.

What is the fuse rating for the 12v line from the power supply to the board? I think it's a 1 amp fast blow...but I'm trying to avoid stopping home to check..I'd like to just grab a pack on the way home.

My Daytona 2 is giving RAM errors, looking to see if I can find a replacement cheaper than repairing the existing board (I'll get it done eventually...). I just need the bottom board from a model 3 stack. Video board only.

Is a Space Invaders Deluxe harness similar enough to test repairs to a Seawolf board or is there some drastic difference that will blow it up? I get that the sound and wiring won't work, I'm looking to test a fix that led to scrambled ship gfx.

I have two doing the same thing. Screen full of garbage, occasionally some static and clicking sounds from the speaker.

I was playing MK2 tonight and the screen went to static then black...then a loop of crying through the speaker. Now it bongs, displays static on the screen and crys...then resets. Any ideas?

Anyone ever have trouble with a polo going into shutdown ....but only on one of the yoke connectors ? Swap to the other and it works. Ignore the obvious color issues, color transistors are a little loose. [

Mmao, Wwf Wrestlemania pcb. It works but has a RAM error and occasionally you do see a glitch in the characters. Looks like an easy RAM swap.. I just suck at desoldering without making a larger mess and need to start unloading some of the boards I'll likely never find a cabinet for. Pics coming...

A friend of mine has a Galaga cabaret at his drive in....and it just bit the dust. Currently it runs on a switcher, voltages are ok to the board...but she's dead Jim. Any common issues to look for? It's an hour drive..so I want to be as prepared as possible.
