A local KLOV'er ended up having an extra set of his cables. So got my hands on those today. Perfect fit, and all my issues have been fixed with the new ribbon cables.

Did you need to modify the cables or did you use them as is?

Cool thanks for the heads up. It does suck that Arcadeshop sells these as a replacement for Tapper, when they clearly do not work.

Has any one gotten the replacement MCR Ribbon Cables from Arcadeshop to work in a Tapper? To me they are obviously too large to be able to fit in between the PCB stand-offs, and I have been unable to get them on. Unfortunately, the ribbon cables that came with the game are to far gone to be of...

WTB: Midway 19" Monitor Bezel Part 0017-00042-0314 Looking for a 19" Monitor Bezel for a Tapper Cocktail table, thought I believe they were used on other games as well. It is listed with part #0017-00042-0314 and described as a 19" injection molded bezel.

Never Tried, but highly doubt you could fit one in there. I have someone coming to likely pick it up tomorrow.

Yeah, I have been anxiously waiting for thisoldgame to rerun both. I have pinged Rich a few times and they keep saying they are eventually going to get done.

You can order the HSS kit from Arcadeshop: http://arcadeshop.com/parts.htm#HSS Just pull the chips and insert the new ones. The only bummer is that it didn't enable free play as well.
