It was to show a game built in 1977 that was still in the box it came in. It is uncommon to see an arcade game that was never used and is still sitting in its box. There was already a hole cut in the box when we got it. I made it bigger to see the game in its unused condition :)

44 years of working with the public has taught me that ropes and stanchions mean nothing :)

I received a message from Happ to call them regarding my orders. Seven separate orders, dating back to January, are all on backorder. They asked if I still wanted the items! The coin doors I ordered in March, with an expected ship date of late April, are now expected to arrive in December...

...and when it doesn't work, start banging on it, because banging on it is always the procedure to start the game :) If that doesn't work, bang on it and start loudly swearing about how it doesn't work, and then act like nothing is wrong when I point to the start button.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public... or what they can do to a restroom ;)

This is so true! Every day, I hear "The pinball machine ate my tokens and doesn't work." We even have signs on the wall showing where the start buttons are usually located. 9 times out of 10, they didn't push the start button.

I remember a tech in the early 1980s who degaussed monitors with his soldering gun held sideways near the screen :)

A friend stopped by tonight with 2 joysticks, and a set of boards. I am stumped as to what they are. I don't believe the joysticks go with the board. Can the experts chime in on this?
