Nope, never rebuilt. Don't even know what to do. Is there a kit?
  2. soft flipper (that's what she said!)

I have a tales of the Crypt pinball machine. One of the flippers is soft, can barely get the ball up the ramps and sometimes dies altogether. If I sand the contacts it usually is better for a few minutes but fails again quickly. Do I need to replace the whole flipper assembly, or the contacts...

  8. Board is Jamma'd

Have a busted 48 in 1 jamma board. Original snow bros game works fine, but when I plug the jamma board in the display is screwed. Processing works, I can play games blind. The image is grainy, slanted, incomplete and spinning. I hate to throw the board out, can I repair it or get it fixed or...

  10. low voltage

I am trying to diagnose a problem with my Jamma machine. I think I found the problem - at no load condition my +12V is outputting 8V. There doesn't seem to be a pot to adjust this (like there is for the +5). Any tips on what is causing this and how to repair? Thanks, much appreaciated.
  11. Sticky switch (it wasn't me)

Regarding the fire and jump buttons, I successfully disassembled and cleaned all buttons. Two of them, on the actual switch part that wires attach to, the actuating button is stuck inside the switch. It's mostly plastic and doesn't look like it comes apart. I tried poking tihe little bastard...
  12. In a Jamma part 2

Ongoing sagA I did measure the voltage at 5.6 and dialed down to 5.1. No change (cabinet one). The monitor is not horizontal on machine 1, fixed that long ago. Machine 2 is undergoing revitalization and will turn that monitor too. I am just trying to avoid replacing my 48 in 1 board, save...

  14. In a Jamma part 2

The continuing saga of the jamma 48 in 1 diagnosis. In machine #1 the snow bros board works fine but plug in the 48 in 1 board and it doesn't seem to work. (no sound, video is spinning colored static). Machine #2 (yes I have two snow bros machines) snow bros works fine. 48 in 1 will boot...

  17. I am in a Jamma

Jam On start up LED 3 blinks red for 5 seconds, then LED 2 blinks green and never stops. Screen comes on with that moving pattern of colored static and never stops. Makes a sound like a chain saw for 60 seconds then goes quiet. This is consistent with the boot sequence when it worked.
  18. I am in a Jamma

Jamma Has VGA output but got a blank screen. When I plug into the machine I get no signs of function (eg when only monitor is blown I can still hear the game working) and arcade screen is a moving wave of red and black scramble with no clear image.
  19. I am in a Jamma

I have a dead 48 in 1 Jamma board. It must be the board because when I plug in my old snow bros board it all works fine. The board is pretty new and I don't see anything wrong on it. Are there any steps I can take to diagnose and maybe repair the board or is it junk? Advice is appreciated...
