  1. Space Ace Dedicated

Interesting- I don't recall unhooking that cable when I moved it, but that's been a few years ago. I will check that out, thanks.
  2. WTB: Pong UNIS Cocktail Table

Looking to buy one of the Pong mechanical tables. Prefer the coin up "taller" table, but would consider the home use version as well. My location is near Davenport, Iowa but willing to drive for the right deal.
  3. Space Ace Dedicated

Hey all- I have a very clean Space Ace dedicated, complete. Very minor swelling on the bottom of one side, the rest of the cabinet is in excellent condition with the exception of no side art. This original machine worked when it went into storage a few years ago, but when I recently got it from...
  4. FS Parts: FS: Large lot of parts for sale!

Also interested in the Tempest coin door if you still have it. Negotiable?
  5. Tempest Spot Killer flakey (flashing quickly).

Yeah I did go through that, voltages seem right in line. (Less than 1 volt DC, around 2ish volts AC from both X and Y). Another board set is rock solid in the same cabinet though. It actually works and I can play a game, it just 'sounds' like the vectors are a bit weak, they don't sound as crisp...
  6. Tempest Spot Killer flakey (flashing quickly).

Bump if anyone has suggestions. Thanks
  7. FS Parts: FS: Large lot of parts for sale!

Do you have the bent metal piece with holes on it for a tempest that goes under the marquee?
  8. WTB: Tempest perforated bent metal front grill

Looking for the bent metal grill that goes under the marquee on a Tempest. If you have a spare please LMK! Thanks
  9. Tempest Spot Killer flakey (flashing quickly).

Hey all, having an issue with a Tempest boardset I believe. My other set works fine with this monitor, so I do believe it's something in the board itself. No matter where I set my overvoltage pot on the HV cage, my spot killer LED flickers quickly, and sometimes it stays on for several seconds...
  10. WG6100 No Neck Glow

OOhhh where do I get one of those? Unfortunately mine is WAYYY rustier than yours was, including the transformer itself. I am really surprised it worked.
  11. WG6100 No Neck Glow

As much as I'd rather not admit this, I always hate when people post questions and never return with the outcome. In my case, I had a nice clean power brick that I had purchased second hand. I THOUGHT it was advertised as a color x-y power brick, but I bought it many years ago so I'm not 100%...
  12. WTB - Nice clean coin door for Tempest

Subject says it all, I'm looking for a nice coin door for my Tempest. Game is in great condition overall but for whatever reason the coin door is trashed.
  13. RGVAC Rememberances....

I might have one or two, If I can find my old chemical stash (all boxed from when we moved) it'll be in there with all my plastic polish stuff (can't remember the name) for my pins.
  14. RGVAC Rememberances....

Just stumbled on this thread and sorry to resurrect it, but I had to. I don't know what year exactly I would have started on the RGVAC and other groups, but it was probably no later than '98 or '99 and was on for a long time. Just last night I was digging through my parts storage for some...
  15. WG6100 No Neck Glow

Thanks for that! Think I'll pull the harness and throw it in the dishwasher lol.
  16. WG6100 No Neck Glow

Turns out it was the power block, swapped in one that had a consistent +28v on both lines and it came right up. I have no idea why the one monitor worked with the 'bad' power block and this one wouldn't.
  17. WG6100 No Neck Glow

Ok, So I was busy last night and only had 15 minutes to work on this. I got some interesting/odd results. With the working monitor plugged in, I got ~28V at both F100 and F101 on the deflection board. After plugging in the non working monitor, I get 28V on F100, but 17V on F101 which is the one...
  18. WG6100 No Neck Glow

Ah dang, thank you! I read that and it went right over my head. So at least I know the heater is not open. This power brick works fine with the other monitor I have, so I'm guessing I could have an issue with D108 or R528. Will investigate when I get home... thanks again.
