Yeah I did go through that, voltages seem right in line. (Less than 1 volt DC, around 2ish volts AC from both X and Y). Another board set is rock solid in the same cabinet though. It actually works and I can play a game, it just 'sounds' like the vectors are a bit weak, they don't sound as crisp...

Hey all, having an issue with a Tempest boardset I believe. My other set works fine with this monitor, so I do believe it's something in the board itself. No matter where I set my overvoltage pot on the HV cage, my spot killer LED flickers quickly, and sometimes it stays on for several seconds...

Turns out it was the power block, swapped in one that had a consistent +28v on both lines and it came right up. I have no idea why the one monitor worked with the 'bad' power block and this one wouldn't.

Ok, So I was busy last night and only had 15 minutes to work on this. I got some interesting/odd results. With the working monitor plugged in, I got ~28V at both F100 and F101 on the deflection board. After plugging in the non working monitor, I get 28V on F100, but 17V on F101 which is the one...

Ah dang, thank you! I read that and it went right over my head. So at least I know the heater is not open. This power brick works fine with the other monitor I have, so I'm guessing I could have an issue with D108 or R528. Will investigate when I get home... thanks again.
