A bit more info. This unit is model APEX-7600-U51-USA, uses 12volts DC. Think it's meant for modern video games, slots, etc that have 12VDC available at the coin door.

I think you are right. That is an inverter and I have seen what it should look like, that connector is missing. Unfortunately that ebay link is not the exact inverter, but close. I need the QF131V2B. None on ebay right now, looking for one elsewhere. Can't figure out what the exact monitor...
