NEW Anyone see Konami's Ping Pong?

I don't believe there ever was a dedicated cabinet, not in Japan anyway. I have the PCB and the manual makes no mention of a cabinet. I suspect it was used it generic Konami cabinets, though the control panel wiring is slightly different from other Konami games of that era. It's well known on...

WTB:Nintendo 7 pin power cable for 4 board TKG3 Donkey Kong pcb

I suppose I could keep looking but I am going to sell or dump nearly all of my boards, so that's obviously one that'll go.

WTB - Trackball controller for SEGA Major League

Ok, I found it and indeed it is the same part. I have two of them but I do need them for the SDI I have as I want to sell it, although I can't test them as I don't have the pinout.

Is that the same as the one used on SDI, and do you have its pinout?

Wow, you did well, I've been posting in this section for a very long time for one of those. I've given up on it and am going to dispose of the board.

Some CPS2s suicide harder than others.

I read that and immediately thought "Hey, I haven't seen Alien or Aliens in a few months... let's watch them again tonight".

Conversion Question..NY..Sega power drift to outrun??

Have a look at my Out Run and Power Drift to JAMMA writeup, it shows the differences between the two setups. http://pcbiroiro.blogspot.jp/2012/03/one-of-my-favourite-games-and-that-of.html

    MMAO - Game: Nintendo stuff

I need 4, 7, and 17 pin connectors on the multicoloured cables, do you have those? I can't quite count if there's 17 pins or not.

Hang On/Super Hang On compatibility question

The 50-pin connector on Hang-On has no connection for Turbo, so it's not a straight swap.

A grail to you that most would say "meh"

Son Son PCBs are pretty easy to get in Japan. I've had one for a few years now. I've never seen a marquee.

    Sega Asteroids info...

Unfortunately the Sega Arcade History book doesn't show either the cabinet or its flyer, and I can't find any pictures on Japanese sites. It's a very rare game in Japan. The game itself is the same as the Atari version, there's just a slight difference on the PCB.

What were the pricing options on the PCB? I have this UK/Ireland one with 10 pence for one game and 50 pence for six. This version is not in MAME.

Who Plays games on a Super Gun ?

Yes, I have two XE-1ST2 as well. I bought one in a small local game and manga shop and the guy didn't know what it was for. When I said it was for the X68000 and FM Towns he burst out laughing. I made an adaptor for mine so that I can use them on my Atari ST and ZX Spectrum. The X68000 versions...

Who Plays games on a Super Gun ?

I use superguns exclusively now, since I live in Japan and space is tight. My wife says I can have all the cabinets and pinball machines I want once I buy a house with enough space for it. I have a Sigma AV7000 with two controllers and a Sigma Raijin. I had bought the Raijin for use with rotary...

Anyone ever seen these SFII cards?

They're instruction cards that come with every Japanese game, I have quite a number of them. I haven't seen too many in English though. Here are mine for SF II' Turbo:

The pneumatic versions are still around in Japan, in those which specialise in retro games.

Below are the Japanese instruction cards. These are photocopies. Here's the manual, also a photocopy. Difficult to read some of the text: By way of contrast, here are the SFII' Turbo cards, which are bigger. These are original: From the famous "All About Capcom Head-to-Head Fighting Games...
