Thanks I've inspected the whole board inside out but the only suspicious place seems the socketed D8255AC-5. The socket is from 2 pieces, so definitely not original, which can mean that this chip was exchanged for some reason. I will order a new one.

Thank you very much for identifying the type. But I also need to know which file dump goes to which eprom, since 4 eproms are dead. I have to program 4 new eproms, but there are much more files inside MAME's galaga.zip I know it has to be 4kbytes each.
