Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I saw that which is why I'm wondering if it's an easy conversion. I'm an idiot with this stuff so I have no idea if it's even possible. Swapping rom chips seems easy enough but would that work..Has anyone else even tried this?

Re: I\'m so mad I could spit! I could be wrong but that doesn't look inverted to me. I just spent a good few months messing with a Nintendo Sanyo monitor and when you don't have an inverter everything is very pink.

This is a picture of an invertor board. It sits on top of the flyback transformer.

Re: Convert a 3 player rampart to 2 player joystick? from what I've read on KLOV, the PCBs are identicle except for the ROMS, a GAL and some of the resistors are pull down instead of pull ups. I have no idea what those last two things are but if it was something simple as a ROM swap...
