  1. Odd Request for an Old Fair-Play Scoreboard

Looking for a wiring diagram for a Fair-Play BB-200 scoreboard. Built probably, late 60's through the 70's. I am trying to convert it to a clock so I can hang it up in my shop and it has a long term purpose. Too cool to just let it sit, not lit up.
  2. United Shuffle Alley Game Over Issue

My uncle who turned me on to pinball and arcade games 40 years ago, passed about 10 years ago and his children, my cousins, are trying to get some of his machines going again. One of them is a 1976 United/Williams Emerald shuffle alley. I replaced the power cord, got it to go into a full reset...
  3. Tempest High Scores only 4

I have a nice original Tempest, but I can only input the top 4 high scores on the game. The top 4 are the only scores that can be changed and 5-10 stay '10101'. Below the last scores is also something that says 'Top 1-99 scores'. How do you set this up to input more than 4 scores?
  4. New to me Tempest, monitor problems

Ok, bought a decent working Tempest, brought it home, played fine for a day. Powered it up today, just has a dot in the middle. Looks like the dot has colors, not just white. If you hit player one, a game will start and you can hear gameplay. I would like to get this machine up and running...

  6. Arachnid Super 6 Plus II fresh out of storage, some issues.

Pulled an old Arachnid 6300 series dart board out of storage, plugged it in, works. Monitor is good, will credit up, can select all the games and navigate all of the instructions. Has a few odd issues that I wonder if anyone know what to do. 1) Game doesn't always make sounds when hits occur...
  7. Anyone covert an LPC Seeburg to IPOD?

Anyone covert an LPC Seeburg to IPOD? It seems that there is a 3WA wallbox adapter to iPod, but will that work with an LPC? I would use a newer amp, dump everything in it and just use the buttons to select. Thoughts?
  8. Rowe AMI JAO power supply rectifier and capacitor

I have a nice Rowe AMI JAO 'Bandstand' jukebox that I am overhauling. I am recapping the amp and preamp, cleaning everything up and rewiring the crusty stuff. However the power supply has an old selenium rectifier in it and a 1000mfd 50VDC cap on it. I have a few extra KBPC1010 (1000V; 150A...
  9. Seeburg TCC1 Transformer Crackling Sound

I just recapped a TCC1, tubes light up, but the transformer makes a cracking sound. It gets warm too. I assume it is shorted inside and that this is NOT normal.....Any resource to acquire a new one? Please advise.
  10. Seeburg LPC480 information needed

I bought a nice LPC480. Needs the amp rebuilt and the unusual things addressed. Looks to be unmolested, no hacks, etc. I am confused about this machine and it's RPM.....I have had 3 Seeburgs in the past (Two Seeburg B's and a Seeburg C). This unit seems to have the same type player as the...
  11. Putting a newer amp into an older jukebox

I know it is not just as simple as throwing in an amp and go, but has anyone done this? Looking to attempt to swap out my AMI DD amp with something more modern, solid state, etc. Any thoughts, I am game.
  12. AMI DD amp filter cap configuration

Ok, so I need to replace the old can style filter with the style caps. I have 3 to replace with 7 new caps. The old caps have 3 terminals sticking out the bottom with 3 more hold down tabs, also used at chassis grounds. Do I simply twist all three of the cathode sides of the new caps...
  13. AMI D-40 Help

First, I am stumped on why my juke says 80 selections on the glass........with only 20 records, what gives? Is this glass from another machine? I have seen other D-40s with this sticker on there, thoughts? Second, I picked up this machine the other day, everything was disconnected, but...
  14. Rowe AMI optical switch replacement

Any thoughts on a modern opto replacement for the old CD100 jukebox optical switches? There has to be a way to desolder the old and replace with new. Anyone done this?
  15. Rowe CD100 wrong selections

Just installed new sprague wheel kit, was dropping cds out of the mech, now during a full initialization it has the wrong discs. Example, play 2702, it plays 3102. Thoughts?
  16. Making a clock out of an old scoreboard

I have a large barn that I hang old signs etc. in and I was looking at a nice looking scoreboard to add to the collection. I would like it to light up, but it would be nice if it lit up and told time. There is a play clock on it, but it will not keep time for 24 hours, just whatever you...

  19. Tempest board custom machine

Stupid question maybe, but if I were to buy one of the Tempest 1UP cabs, could I take out the guts and transfer them into a full size cab with an LCD monitor and run it that way?
  20. Rowe CD 100 acting strange and dead

So, I should preface that I keep my juke in my unheated shop. It never gets wet or beat on, but I am sure the weather plays a role in its life. It has a rebuilt laser as of Sept 2018, always worked until recently. Around June it would lose all of the input credit and zero out each time it was...
