    Ice Cold Beer solenoid kicker

THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLIES! The errant ball solenoid is working now, although I can't say I did anything in particular to fix it. To recap- I pulled the board. Gave it a stern looking over. Put it back it back in. Checked the resistance and voltage seen at the solenoid when the game was...

    Ice Cold Beer solenoid kicker

Was this resolved? If so, how? My Zeke's Peak just started having this issue too. The solenoid no longer fires when the ball goes down the errant ball hole. The errant ball switch works and activates ball search mode but the solenoid doesn't fire at all. I've poked around a bit and pulled the...

SOLD - GAME Restored Track and Field - Las Vegas

Fwiw, I was quoted $420 by Beltmann to ship from Oklahoma City to Chicago. Much closer than CA to IN but barely cheaper.

Ice Cold Beer / Tapper mod - Yay or Nay? :)

No, I was there a couple weeks ago for bachelor party. Weed and homeless people everywhere. The weed, not surprising. The amount of homeless was though. Seemed like the city/cops are very tolerant though and didn’t give them any grief.

Shipping a Zeke's Peak from OKC to Chicago

Hi all, I need to ship a Zeke's Peak from Oklahoma City to Chicago. I've never shipped a game before. I see STI, Beltmann, Fastenal, etc. mentioned, with varying opinions. I'm not sure if I should find an outfit who'll pack/pallet the game or try to do so myself. (Not sure I have what's needed...

    Starting Young in Chicago

Well I’m down to connect, ideally sometime on a weekend. Pretty tied up weekdays. I went to pinball expo last year for the first time. Took a friend. We had fun playing all sorts of pins. It gave me a chance to compare them and get a little feel for which I liked better. I recall Medieval...

    Starting Young in Chicago

What’s the zaxxon gag about? I’ve seen a few references but don’t get the joke? Coincidentally, the first video game I remember playing in ‘84 or ‘85 was zaxxon on my dad’s commodore (64?). Has the joystick controller and everything! Haha

    Starting Young in Chicago

Just saw this Chicago thread. Count me in too. I live in the West Loop and often think about how my next place needs to be a 2 or 3 bedroom so my collection can grow. :) I don’t have much leisure time but it’d be cool to meet up at one of the many local barcades. Headquarters is free play and...

Mortal Kombat 2 Cabinet Wiring Hook-up Question

No, DON’T connect P4 to the power supply! P4 already has power as it’s an “AUX. POWER OUT” where pins 2 and 4 are +5V and 1 and 5 are Ground. See manual page 3-26, section D7 (and attached pic!). The +5V_IN shown is provided by the board to the header. My MKII’s P4 wiring has one red wire on...
