The game PCB might have ROMs for another region in it (e.g., Japan) - that could explain the KPH vs MPH issue. I'm not sure if they're labeled by region, but it's worth looking at the board to see what's on there. No idea about the purple car though.

Here are a few pics from earlier in the year. Missing are an Asteroids Deluxe cocktail and Tekken 5 dedicated cab. The Ms. Pac-Man and Star Wars upright were down at the time the photos were taken, but are back up and running now.

Looks like Asteroids legs are the same, based on the photos I've seen. Not 100% sure, but I'd be willing the take the chance just to get the cabinet off the floor. :)
