  1. Phantom of the Opera Value

If you're willing to drive to Kansas City or are chummy with Brian Saunders, there's one on CL there for $1,250 that looks pretty nice. The backglass still has the original mask intact, anyway. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/for/2672636172.html
  2. hanging or framing a backglass?

I've done that quite a few times, too. The frames here were all under $20 each: http://www.pictureframes.com/scripts/WebObjects/PictureFrames.woa/wa/MetalCollection?sec=Economy+Rainbow+Metal&sku=222MBLK
  3. 15 pins from the 50's for sale in Cali (not mine)

Look to be bingos, or at least some of them are. Wish they had pics of the backglasses (if there are any) to see which titles are there.
  4. What is a peeling backglass worth?

Then you're probably also not interested in spending $3,000 on the original artwork: http://cgi.ebay.com/Original-Backglass-Artwork-ELEKTRA/120751851452
  5. Hauling a pinball machine up a tight stairway? winches?

I think Alfred Hitchcock used those same stairs when he made the movie "Vertigo." Or maybe they were inspired by M.C. Escher. I can't imagine having to move pins up and down them unless I had a winch like the OP's, but even then it'd still make me pretty nervous. Maybe he should take the...
  6. need some suggestions on what to do about this backglass....

The Mr. Pinball owner registry lists a half a dozen guys who have this title in their collection. You might try emailing them to see if any of them either have or could take a better pic of the backglass for you than the one on MrHide's website. Brian Saunders would probably be your best bet...
  7. GORGAR Backglasss

    Not mine: http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/clt/2212941393.html
  8. Anyone with a nice Xenon front?

You might try contacting Jeff McAfee and see if he'll sell you his stencils for just the cabinet front. It would make your job easier. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230554122726
  9. Devil's Dare Sound Issue

Is this game a reimport? DD's that were shipped to Europe only had sound, but no speech. Is there an auxiliary sound/speech power board in the backbox? If not, then this is an export game.
  10. This one is taunting me

Probably better to spend $150 more on a decent one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170550004357 If you have repair skills, this project game at $350 might have been a good buy. It needs some electrical work but is in better cosmetic condition than the one you were...
  11. possible to get nickel or penny coin mechs?

Nickel mechs come up on eBay all of the time, with one selling yesterday for $7.50. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390235076001 I don't think I've ever seen penny mechs other than coin slides. You might ask crowriver.com
  12. Xenon Value?

The red drop targets are wrong, but overall the game looks like an excellent buy at $450. I'd do it in a heartbeat.
  13. Confused about playfield overlays, and inserts:)

Arcadegrafix made some crappy overlays for Xenon years ago with colored inserts. Buy one of CPR repro playfields, like the one shown here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380168284857 CPR has also done overlays for Xenon which are excellent (and less pricey)...
  14. What do you call this part?

You mean one of these? http://i47.tinypic.com/vq1ht2.jpg eBay is the easiest place to find them. Buy a playfield and ask the seller to just send you the ball cover. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120581881329

  16. Playfield Restoration

    Jeff McAfee sells those. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290394368824
  17. What ya think about this machine?

Or perhaps in the hold of a cargo ship for the lengthy voyage back from Argentina. Even with a U.S. coin door, that thing looks like it was out on the high seas for a loooong time.
  18. Fully restored High Speed for sale

It was posted in the Mr. Pinball classifieds this morning for $2,750.
  19. Bad Girls Pinball

    Yep, that's it.
