4 player "Paddle Derby" pong clone?

I agree with Iggy here -- from a "preservation of history" standpoint, it's totally worth what he's asking, especially as nice as it looks. I just think it'll see more use as a table to hold beers than as a game to play, so might wanna see if you can get the price down a little.

4 player "Paddle Derby" pong clone?

Nutting Associates made some of the earliest versions of Pong (maybe the first? dunno), so that's pretty darn cool from an historical standpoint, especially a cocktail, though at the end of the day it's still Pong, so kinda boring. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutting_Associates

    pac man board...what's missing?

mike (klov handle Riptor) sells them for 90 bucks on his site -- http://www.twistywristarcade.com/pacman/78-midway-pacman-pcb.html he may do a trade-in kinda thing where you send him your broken board, he'll send you a working board for X amount, not sure. send him a PM, see what he says...

What a Bosconian with -7 plays looks like.

maybe you should post a few pics... just kidding! ;) that's a great looking game, dude, and i love all the pics! that thing is uber-clean. definitely stick w/ the original art. it'd be a shame to take off such nice-looking original art just to put on repro stuff that would maybe be slightly...

    Playchoice roll call

there's a dip setting to turn off the timer; then you can just play games normally. the site shinjikun gave you is fantastic. the manual should have the dip settings, located here on that site -- http://playchoice.riemen.net/rep_manuals.html i've got a dual monitor with a full load of games...

    quick price check Popeye

Seems to be about a $250-300 game around here, working and in nice condition, and they'll sit for a while on CL at that price. I think you made a fair offer at 150 since it has unknown monitor issues. Worst case, the parts are worth more than that (though not suggesting you part it).

Pinball Pete's in Ann Arbor Flooded today!!

jeez, that is some major suckage. this quote from the story struck me as stupid -- "Williams said he spends at least three days a week at the arcade, not only working but also playing Donkey Kong. “I really love this place. I come here easily three times a week,” he said. “I play a lot of...

    Coin box for Moon Patrol?

I have a Shinobi in a converted Moon Patrol cab. Here are pics of the coin bucket that's in it, which I think is original to MP. It matches #13 in the link from Airlair, w/ the addition of the metal handle on mine. It also has a lip running around all sides, so it probably originally had a...

When did arcades increase from 25c to 50c, 50c to 75c/$1 in your area?

i remember dragons lair being 50¢ at chuck e. cheese and everywhere else, which would've been 1983. i think pretty much all the laser disc games i saw after that were always 50¢-- space ace, mach 3, etc. when i was 12, i was lucky to get 2 or 3 bucks out of my parents to play, so i pretty...

Got an awesome picking find today! $100 Popeye cab!

nice pickup on the popeye, but go back and get the double dragon, dude! if it's the original taito cab and not some kind of conversion, it has a pcb drawer in the front and it's jamma, so board swaps are super easy and you don't have to pull the cab away from the wall either. the monitor...

One price / hourly arcades - how do they do it?

you could do the time-based fee like a parking garage does it. someone comes in the door, they get a timestamped card or bracelet; on the way out, they pay for how long they were in there based on the timestamp. lose your card, pay full-day rate. break it down into 15-min or 30-min blocks...

    Selling a House/Moving and Games

when you're trying to sell your house, you don't want clutter and you don't want to make it hard for people looking at your house to imagine their junk in your house. make sure it's not so packed-in that it's hard to imagine what the space can be used for besides an arcade, so whatever that...
