Thank you guys !! I love a good resto thread and though id post this to give a bit back and to inspire. Unfortunately i don't have the cab anymore, i access to the stencils but no files and so ill be on the look out for another to breath some life into in the near future. BH

Thanks guys ! I enjoyed posting it as it was a while ago that i did it. Plexi should well but just be careful that it has enough of its own weight to stay on the cab and that its not to thick to distort the paint before it hits the black. Good Luck and post it up BH

On with the red !and its starting to come together. Little action shot and the last one shows the soft lines before a polish and clean up.

For me they are to perfect the lines are to good when you peel them back, don't get me wrong they do a great job, but i just wanted it as close to factory as possible which is soft lines and some over spray. I think in the factory they didn't give a toss banged the stencils on and fired the...

Stencils clamped in place, they needed to be tight but not so tight the lines were to harsh. Also on the yellow i was able to slightly lift areas to replicate the over spray. Id had a bit of practice by this time but still a bit worried id be sanding it all off again if i messed it up.
  20. Defender

No i had an engineering company cut them on a CNC plasma cutter, not cheap from memory they were about £300.00 BH
