You are right, the kits cost a fair amount of money ! If I decide to upgrade to the CDPRO2 will it need another control board also ? and another question, if the laser unit is getting weak, could I just replace the laser head its self ? I see them on ebay and other places from time to time...

Thats odd, it will play every other track on a burned cd, 2-3-4-5 etc. were all the rowe 100 series cd jukes made to not play burned cd's ? Dennis.

HI- I have a Rowe CD100a juke with a CDM4 player. Problem I am having is that the juke will not play the 1st track on any burned cd's. Seems to work fine on original cd's. Is this a sign the CDM4 player is getting weak ? I have re-initialized all the cd's in the juke, didnt help. Any...

HI- I found out I had set the juke for FIFO only on the "Pay" setting, and had not switched the "Free play" setting for tracks in a row, or FIFO. It was set to random play. It now plays the album tracks in a row in order, but the odd thing I noticed is that the CD has to re-read every time...
