FS Game: Nintendo R-Type (Chicago suburbs) $1,500 OBO

Dedicated 1987 Nintendo R-Type cabinet in overall great condition. The monitor, cabinet art, control panel, joystick and buttons are all original (except for the blue button). The marquee is a repro, but I still have the original which is faded but in good condition. The game plays perfectly...

Lol! What colors do you need? I have a couple extras I'm not using.

WTB: OEM Nintendo button for R-Type / Vs. Unisystem (light blue)

WTB: OEM Nintendo button for R-Type / Vs. Unisystem (light blue) I'm looking for a light blue "1 PLAYER" start button for an R-Type control panel. The same button was used on the Vs. Unisystem control panel. These buttons are lighter in color than the Donkey Kong buttons. I do not need the...

Which pin would you choose??? Revised.

I don't think I've ever played a Big Hurt. I'd rank the other 3: FT - - - JP - - - - - - - Space Jam To me, FT is by far the best of the three. JP isn't bad, and I really don't care for Space Jam at all.

    Airborne Shop out started!

I didn't realize you were posting about your Airborne restoration over here as well until I randomly came across this thread just now. I'm so busy these days with my moderator duties over on Pinside that I rarely check these forums anymore. The game is looking great!

Quick answer: Stargate - 1500$ Yes or no.

Buy it. SG is a great game. If for some reason you don't like it, you should have no problem breaking even at that price.

Pre-Orders for Ben Heck's Zombie Adventureland Pinball start in 2 days!

You're not comparing apples to apples. The 10K is for a super limited run of a high-end custom game. You can still get a NIB AC/DC Pro for well under 5K.

Tales of the Arabian Nights Purchase

Something is wrong with yours. It should be more or less perpendicular to the playfield.

Tales of the Arabian Nights Purchase

Congrats on the TOTAN! I recently picked one up myself, and I'm loving it. People can trash it all they want, but the thing is a work of art. I don't know if any other pin does a better job of incorporating the theme into the gameplay.

Creature vs. TOTAN. Which is the Better Pin?

I recently picked up a TOTAN myself, and it is the first pin my wife has ever taken to. She has actually gone down into the basement several times now by herself just to play it. :)

    Lovin' my STTNG

I love STTNG. I think it's easily Ritchie's best pin. It's also one of the absolute best bargains out there. If it was a more popular theme, it would be a $4,000 game.

Chicago Pinball Expo - A Little Disappointed

Considering people are getting in free by bringing a machine, it hardly makes sense that they are allowed to shut it off before the Expo ends.

Chicago Pinball Expo - A Little Disappointed

I just missed a Shadow that I thought was a pretty good deal. It went for $1,975, which is a lot for that game, but it was in fantastic condition. It almost looked HUO, with virtually no Sanctum wear. You gotta give credit to the people that bring games to the show, particularly people like...

Chicago Pinball Expo - A Little Disappointed

This was my second Expo, and I had a great time once again. I definitely agree about some of the criticisms, though. It is ridiculous that the free play area is closed for six hours on Saturday evening. I understand that the main people running the Expo are all at the banquet, but I'm sure they...
