The saucers shots are loud and clear.

My Asteroids game works perfectly, but the ships firing sound is missing. I have replaced all the caps and reflowed everything on the pcb. Not sure where I need to look next. I would think it would be a simple fix. I really miss that sound… Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does anyone know if there is a cap kit or list of caps for the Billabs BL19C71K-U chassis? I can't find anything online including Bob Roberts for this monitor. I would even be willing to swap out the chassis if there is a compatible option. Thanks for any suggestions.

Ok. I ended up replacing the AVG socket and the socket at 1K on the vector board, and it fired right up. I still had the same "jumpy graphics" problem… Out of frustration I bid on an untested Star Wars board set on Ebay, and won it. The Ebay vector board did not work, so I swapped my original...

No I have not… Also I will need to get a logic probe. I'm not sure what is causing this new problem. I was careful when replacing the op amp. Could the new chip cause an old one to fail?

I changed out the op amp (tl082cp) at 9b/c in the y circuit... Now the monitor is showing a horizontal green line that comes and goes. It does play blind… not sure what I did there. I ordered some dac chips. Do these chips tend to go hand in hand?

Unfortunately I have no way to check… I'll order and replace the chip to see if it fixes the problem. I've also ordered replacement ceramic caps for the vector board.
