We got it through the door by disconnecting the control console from the main cab, and removing the rear monitor and mounting brackets. Plus we had to take the door off the hinges.... As for the repro artwork, I'd love it, too! The people at Ground Kontrol did a total artwork restoration...

I suppose I owe you guys an update on this one... Huge props to buffet and DogP for fixing the monitors. JST also send me the right connectors so I replaced those and the sound is great.

I contacted JST and they concurred with you. I submitted a request for some samples, now we'll see if they come!

I checked the markings on the connectors, and it just says "JST". I didn't know that I'd have to buy the plug and the contacts separately. This is going to be quite a project for me if that's the case!

I've attached the pictures to this post. I'm at work, so i won't be able to get the writing off the connector until i get home. According to the manual, it says they're 4 position and 6 position J.S.T. connectors, but that doesn't seem to help me find anything.

I appreciate the patience you guys have. I'll see if I can get him to determine the specs by inspection of the monitors. The lack of a manual is definitely a hindrance, but when it comes to this hobby, I suppose that's the nature of the beast. Thanks for all your help so far!

I'll admit that our repair guy may not be perfect, but he's got more experience than a layman at fixing these things. As much as I'd love to send the monitors off to chad, our budget lies somewhere between angel hair and shoestring. Shipping would be astronomical, so local help is our only real...
