Weird deep specs on sides - TMNT Turtles in Time cabinet

Turtles was good for kids, maybe middle schoolers. Golden Tee was a good way to repurpose a stale or unused game into something that would make money in a bar. Just different demographics, and there are a lot more bars than family fun centers.

Weird deep specs on sides - TMNT Turtles in Time cabinet

Thanks yeah TIT was THE game for me in the 90s. I saw it at Pizza shops and arcade corners at swap meets. The art is goofy but that’s the nostalgia for me. I saw this listed for sale on OfferUp and I saw the Konami back label and knew it had to be restored. The thing I don’t understand is back...

The Drop In Quarters 2.0 - Don't call it a come back.

Yep I'm currently looking for a second Astro City. Someone recommended KC up in LA as he is always moving candy cabs. I'm not sure what happened but he seemed kinda off over text (perhaps just a language barrier) but when I refused to pay him $2400 using Zelle (zero buyer protection) for a cab...

The Drop In Quarters 2.0 - Don't call it a come back.

Candy cabs are terrific :) My buddy Francis (Ataricade) used to tease me for liking them saying they resembled washing machines… but what's not to like? 1 or 2 player, multiple control panel button layouts available, a 25-29" screen depending on the model and stylish to boot. Smart pairing with...

    Jeff Kinder's Home Arcade 2.0

Finished up a Ms. Pac-man restoration today! The cab was solid, but the original paint faded quite a bit in the past 43 years and was also flaking off in many areas. I sanded the entire cab down to the bare wood, bondo'd up the dents and dings, and went with the complete art package from...
  10. Next Project: Tron

A member here saw in my Battlezone thread that I was wanting a Tron and he offered a project Tron that he wanted to sell. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse, so to speak. The cab itself is actually in decent shape, if I had gotten it I would have cleaned it up and used it, but he had bought...

    Euro/Irish Gravitar replica build

Oof, I am just not getting to this project. I really want to finish it but I think I am ready to move on as I can't see getting to it in the next 2-3 years minimum due to non-arcade projects that are in front of it. I will be selling the following: 1. Rebuilt vector power brick using Takeman...

    Woodgrain Hyper Sports?

My track and field cab has a big piece of woodgrain as an internal cabinet piece that I momentarily considered chopping a piece from to fix the corner of my time pilot project. Both have identical grain patterns and look to be a match for your Dbl Dragon/Lode Runner cab too. I have huge...

finally got around to fixing my centipede

Got this centipede as part of a package deal where i picked up a solar fox pin, poker cab, centipede and STAR WARS (what I actually wanted but had to take them all. Overall I got it working with not a lot of time put in, just a little here and there (I was lucky as I just restored a centipede a...
  16. United/Williams Emerald shuffle alley - Value as project?

Have a friend for whom I fix up games he's looking for. It's a compensated gig but I don't charge anywhere near retail with this individual for various reasons. He's asked about a Shuffle Alley/Puck bowler and I knew of this one sitting in a shed for at least 28 yrs now. Pics are below...

    Dynamo HS-9 Advice

I'm heading out to look at what I believe to be an empty HS-9 or HS-8. I'm not sure I've ever seen one, but I just spent the last couple hours reading up on them here, going back a lot of years in some of those threads. Every one with substantial contributions from @DonPanetta. Thanks Don and...

    Dr. Dude my Dream Machine

...a solder repair and ending up shorting the MPU or something? It was bad. Tried fixing it myself but I couldn't figure it out and gave up trying, fell out of the hobby for a bit after that tbh.. but got reinspired to get back into it recently and was able to trade my Pinbot for another arcade...

Found or No Longer Wanted Battlezone cabaret plexi retaining bracket

I've been referencing that very cab and his 6 part write up on arcade blogger, I really like the look of the European coin door on your cab. He also had a great piece on the late Pete Davies, The "Invader" Arcade collection.
