Nuuu.. definitely not mine. I wouldn't be caught dead on one of those things. Maybe 20 years ago... and if it played 80's tunes. The neckboard and wiring harnesses both seem to be okay. If I tap on the back of the neckboard, the screen doesn't jitter nearly as bad as when I tap the chassis.

Absolutely start with the cap kit. In the meantime, if the monitor works intermittently, discharge it and check the bottom of the chassis (printed circuit board) for broken solder joints around the connectors, large resistors and flyback transformer.. anything that can wiggle or generate heat...

Yeah, just like the machine that was 'purchased new for home use and never worked on'. Yet the severe burn-in, numerous repairs, 80,000+ games on the (now disconnected) counter and grafitti etched into the bezel say otherwise.

Try reflowing the solder connections along the input connectors as well as all of the adjustment pots. I recently had a similar problem, which was caused by a loose vertical pot. Resoldered the connections and the sync returned.

Also, make sure you installed mica insulators between the transistors and the side of the monitor frame. New insulators were not included in my Bob Roberts kit, so be sure to carefully peel them off from the backside of the old transistors so they don't short against the metal chassis.
