well ive just been let into a secret. Someone has taken the wells gardner factory mods off the bottom of the chassis. Im also under the impression that these are what made the difference between the 19" and 25" monitors(maybe wrong about that). Cheers for the ideas

A little update to this. Ive just had another check and the resistor is now not only hot but glowing. Could this have anything todo with the horizontal width circuit.

Thanks for the ideas. Just to let you guys know its a upright. I was told it needed a medium res monitor. This to me was a supprise and I tryed my nanao monitor on a table next to the cab set to medium res and it didnt work. maybe I should of tryed it set on standard res before I unpluged it...
