no its an original adapter although I do have one of those aftermarket ones that I could try.
I have tried cleaning the connector for the cartridges. Does it have an adapter in it like with the NES? I haven't tried removing the pin connector for the cartridge as the eject spring is in the way...
Hopeful someone can point me in the right direction on what to try next.
