Need some help with an Arcade Legends 1 - garbled screen

It was in somebodies trash yesterday, but I ended up with a very nice condition Arcade Legends 1 machine. I knew it would have problems, or it wouldn't be in the trash, but the cabinet is in fantastic shape and it's almost complete except for the CD and manual. Anyhooooooo....... I've got 2...

Namco System 21 'Starblade' info out there?

I know pins, not so much vids, and my Starblade is throwing fits now when I try to power it up. Keeps re-starting at the DSP RAM test. I'm finding next to nothing on Namco System 21 hardware out there to start troubleshooting this problem. Anybody have any experience with these? -Hans

Repetitive question regarding Ms Pac cocktail art

Made an epic score today with a beautiful Ms Pac cocktail table. All it needs is a single CPO and re-glue the T-molding. Been out of the vid scene for a while, been focusing on pins too much. What's the go-to place for a CPO these days on this machine? I see Phoenix Arcade only has CPO's for...

Looking to see if anybody has schematics for the Fliptronics II boards, or knows which manual might have them. I see bits and pieces in a couple manuals, but no full schematic sets for this particular board. -Hans

Any idea what this travesty used to be?

Spotted this awful thing on E-bay. Tempted to buy it just to put it out of its misery and end its tortured life. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SNK-Dual-Slot-Stand-Up-Arcade-Game-w-4-Games-Puzzle-Bottle-Metal-Slug-2-MORE-/111157921656?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19e1874778 I just don't know Atari...

Do Run Run audio circuit, late revision, how to adjust volume

Do Run Run audio circuit, late revision, how to adjust volume After going in the completely wrong direction on this one, I finally realized I have a late revision Do Run Run PCB with the integrated audio amp, which doesn't use the external amplifier board. Unfortunately, I haven't got a clue...

Interest thread: Mr. Do! audio amps

Just got a correct audio amp for my Do Run Run, (machine had an incorrect piece that had no volume adjustment, and was way too loud). According to the schematics, it's the same piece for Mr Do as well. (Will check if it's also the same for Castle and Wild Ride as well) Between the amplifier...

    WTB: Just a power switch

Not sure why, but somebody took the power switch out of my Starblade at some point, and just ran the power cord straight to the power supply. Would like to put an actual switch back into the machine, nothing fancy just a standard DPST switch like used in pretty much every old cab. -Hans

FS: 25ft of superflat speaker wire

Figured somebody here may need or be able to use it. Bought a Sewell 50ft roll of that superflat speaker wire to run some surround sound, and only ended up needing half of it. This is the kind you peel and stick, then paint over. 16awg 2 conductor. Looking for $25 shipped. -Hans

Gauging interest: Repro Starblade mirror domes

I think I found a place that can handle brand new mirror domes for Starblade, and have shot them an e-mail for a price quote. At the moment I haven't got a clue on pricing but am going to try and have them done as close to original as possible. It could be $75 each, it could be a few hundred...

    My Apocalypse road trip score

This was a case of having an opportunity, soon having a room big enough to put it, a day off, and clear weather. 12 hours of driving later it's sitting in storage in my garage until, next month when we close on the new house. Not sure how many of these were made, but serial number on this one...
