My buddy had one of these and it has no display. If I turn the brightness up on the fly back I get white horizontal lines. I am familiar with the k7000 chassis but this is a whole new beast. Can anyone point me in the correct direction on where to start? I can't find aNY info on this chassis out...

I'm thinking about redoing this cab. Depending on what the original game is.

Ok. Pulled vr out of circuit but it's still shorted. I ha e a replacement. I still checked everything else. Found d18 in diode check will get a reading both ways in circuit. If I take it out of circuit it works properly. Is d18 bad or is something else bad? It test this way with or with out vr...

Did a quick test when I got home. 1 and 4 are shorted. I'll pull the board in a few and check everything else u mentioned. If nothing seems shorted, I'll pull the vr off and test. Thanks a ton.

Before I do that, how do I test vr? I'll also look for broken pad or trace.

Swapped r103. Now I have voltage on the resistor to the left of VR. But on both ends I get 168 volts DC.

I message .25 ohms. I tried a parts board out and got 2.7 to 2.8. Both tested in circuit. I'm gonna remove and test. Prob just swap it. I tried the continuety test on hot. Wasn't exactly sure what you meant. This is black on heat sink. pin 1 and 3 of hot beaded. Center leg no beep.
