My MKII is in a 25" cut corner dynamo as well. have no problems playing on the control panel.

My UMK is rev 1.2 and I can't say I've ever noticed that before but sure enough I just powered it up and it cuts out on both sayings.

They are both Jamma+ but the kick harnesses are not the same. You will need the kick harness & cp wiring for MK3 and you'll have to add the run button of course.

Killer Instinct. Only game my wife plays and she is damn good at it. She has damaged me enough just with combo breakers to actually win a match before.
