    SNK Gun Coil Specs

After some hour toying with my uzi (ehmm...) I can now confirm 20V is the "right" voltage. No heat, no smoke. Current sink is approximately 1A for each gun.

    SNK Gun Coil Specs

Hey Ron, thank you for the help. I had already seen your video (I am actually subscribed to your channel). I am more confident to try 20-24V DC now and see if the coil or my driver board (I have not the original, but one I made myself) goes hot.

    SNK Gun Coil Specs

Hello everybody, could someone please confirm that Uzi's coil SNK used to mount in gun assemblies for Beast Busters and Mechanized Attack worked out of 12V? I have one by hand, but seems weak to me @12V... Maybe I should go with 24V? Any advice will be much appreciated :)

Project Lazarus: The After Burner Deluxe

Sure, hardware restore is first in the line. But then, go easy on the arts ;)

Project Lazarus: The After Burner Deluxe

Hopefully the motors research gave you some more time to think at the "restoration" approach to be adopted. In my opinion, no matter what's the starting conditions, one should keep the factory art. It is part of the hystory of the cabinet, it was applied by a SEGA employee at SEGA factory...

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

I was not referring to the CPU board to video board connector (edge connector), but the wire harness connector. Thanks for pointing it out

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

Hey, thank you. I have the edge connector 99% drawn, I only need to know the spacing value as a confirmation just to avoid some sort of obvious mistake If you have the footprint I can take a look at measures direcly from there, eventually. Could you attach it here?

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

Fellow user VectorCollector is kindly helping me via pm, but in the meantime could someone with a poleposition board by hand measure the distance between two adiacent pads on the game's CPU or video board connector? Not an accurate measurement: I only need to know if the spacing is in the 2.5 mm...

NAMCO 's Pole Positon start lamp. What?

ok, I think that pinout is wrong. By looking at the official wirings for NAMCO polepos there's no "lamp" and pin 2 is actually grounded.

NAMCO 's Pole Positon start lamp. What?

Hello everybody, does anyone know if the NAMCO Pole position hardware actually supported outputs? I found this pinout online, with a "start lamp" indication at pin 2 of the 18 pins connector. Does it make any sense to you? If I am right, Atari hardware had no outputs. Thanks in advance for the help

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

Could please anyone confirm that the pitch is 3.96? Thanks!

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

I want to replicate the two 22 pins and 15 pins game PCB fingers. Your pic shows the "filter board" of the latest revisions, isn't it? Anyway it's the same: the distance between two adiacent pads (the pin pitch, yes). Is it 3.96 mm? thanks!

Atari Pole Position: fingerboard pads spacing

Hello everybody, could someone please tell me what is the spacing between pads in poleposition PCB? Am I correct assuming that could be the same as for a JAMMA connector (3.96 mm)? I am trying to replicate it in Eagle CAD for a project :) Thanks in advance!

    SEGA Outrun Hardware Molex Connectors

While we are there Parism, I have noticed that the so called Outrun hardware has a lot in common with SEGA X board, both in terms of pinout and connectors used. Would you be so kind to link me the X-board headers for video and audio? Those are the only different connectors between the two...

    SEGA Outrun Hardware Molex Connectors

Hey Parism, thank you very much for the links. I am referring to the PCB male headers, yes. That's the KK series, as far as I know. By looking at the datasheet the orientation is correct, so I am starting to think that my CAD software elements footprints are drawn inverted... Again, thanks!

    SEGA Outrun Hardware Molex Connectors

Hello everybody, in my understanding SEGA used Molex connectors for Video and audio connectors with 0.156 inc pins spacing. Does anyone know what's the correct code for them? Are they still available? Are there direct replacements eventually? I found KK series, but I think the friction lock is...

    Outrun/SHO motor driver board

By looking at the schematics, it looks that pins are B18 and A18 (outrun manual). B18 should be +5V (outrun schematics sheet 6/7). This means that A18 is shorted to ground to send an "on" signal. Before the SSD there's a ULN2003. This guy works in current sinking configuration, which means that...

    Outrun/SHO motor driver board

Thank you very much Parism for all the help. The two signals are then interchangeable, or the signal goes to a specific pin and the reference to another?
